Engineer, builder, systems thinker.
I'm Aldin Dugolli, a full-stack developer and computer engineering student based in Ferizaj, Kosovo. I build systems that automate workflows, process data at scale, and integrate AI capabilities into practical developer tools.
My journey into software engineering started with curiosity about how things work and evolved through formal education at UBT (Computer Engineering) alongside hands-on project building. I'm certified across full-stack development, AI/ML, and Cisco networking — a foundation that gives me both breadth and depth in modern infrastructure.
I specialize in the Flask + Python ecosystem for backend systems, with PostgreSQL for persistence, Docker for containerization, and Railway for deployment. On the frontend, I work with Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS to build clean, performant interfaces. My CCNA training means I think about networking and security at every layer of the stack.
Recently, I've been diving deep into AI tooling — running local LLMs via Ollama, building RAG systems for document querying, and creating automation tools. I'm also exploring the intersection of AI and developer workflows, building tools that make engineers more effective.
I believe in building in public. Most of my projects are open source, and I write about what I learn. Every project is an opportunity to explore a new idea, refine an approach, or solve a real problem.
When I'm not coding, I'm studying for my computer engineering degree, learning about distributed systems, or experimenting with new tools.
